Dr Paxton visited the class and we talked about what the different body systems are in the body, the organs that form these systems, and then the tissues and cells that make up individual organs.
We then got the chance to use our new set of microscopes and see what cell and tissues look like for ourselves. We learned that they are so small we can't see them with the naked eye, so we need to magnify the images using microscopes. We had to guess the tissue and then investigate if we were right or not!
