Activity 1: What do we know about the human body and Tissue Engineering?
To being the project, the pupils took part in the Anatomy Adventurers Study run by Dr Paxton to identify how much they knew about their own bodies. This involved identifying the structure and function of different body parts using a pre-made worksheet.
Then, they began to delve into the fascinating world of Tissue Engineering to find out how we can build our own body parts in the lab.
